Misr University for Science and Technology participated, through its Heritage Verification Center, in the 57th edition of the Cairo International Book Fair, which was held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center from January 21 to February 3, 2026.
The university’s pavilion (Hall 1 – Booth C64) attracted remarkable attendance, where the Heritage Verification Center showcased the university’s scholarly contributions. As part of the accompanying cultural activities, the Central Library celebrated a book signing event for “Diwan Snapshots” by Professor Dr. Fatma El-Diwani, Professor of English Literature at the College of Languages and Translation, published by Ghorab Publishing House. The event was held in a festive atmosphere, with commemorative photos bringing together the work team and the author.
In line with the university’s vision to advance the educational system, the pavilion welcomed official delegations from the scientific committees of 13 colleges, comprising distinguished professors and researchers in the fields of medicine, engineering, pharmacy, media, languages, and other disciplines.
Throughout the exhibition period, the scientific committees carefully selected and supplied the faculties’ branch libraries with the latest international references and specialized books that meet the research and academic needs of students and faculty members, ensuring alignment with the most recent developments across various academic fields.
This annual participation by the Central Library reaffirms Misr University for Science and Technology’s role as a beacon of knowledge, consistently striving to provide the highest-quality academic resources to its community and to strengthen bridges of communication with the Egyptian and international cultural movement.
